چکیده
This work draws on the concept of circular economy (CE) to advance knowledge toward obtention low-cost and sustainable activated carbons from a biocollagenic waste leather industry, using them in biogas upgrading for energy recovery. The research pursues series benefits across different industrial applications. first is production carbon-based absorbents: CE approach, our experiments re-valorize solid wastes generated vegetable tanning industry obtain environmental second benefit related recovery, which plays key role achieving targets European Renewable Directive, since renewable fuel presents additional value reducing release greenhouse gases atmosphere. Sustainable were obtained by chemical activation (KOH, NaOH, K2CO3), with without previous pyrolysis step, at temperature (750 °C 900 °C) activating agent/precursor weight ratio. microporous adsorbent materials showed good textural properties, BET specific surface area total pore volume up 1600 m2 g?1 0.76 cm3 g?1, respectively. These efficient low cost siloxane adsorption capacity 500 mg higher than that commercial steam supplied producers reached values 349 g?1. if vegetal successfully performed as precursor carbons, proved be gaseous pollutants abatement Thus, this resulted an valorization method assists reduction coal extraction obtaining eco-friendly can beneficially used waste-to-energy applications scenario.

Plenary 3: Introduction to Green Industry and the Circular Economy
Industry is related to sustainable effects. Green industry is linked to a circular economy. There is a huge growth and wealth of population. This means countries are interested in reducing inefficiencies in economy. The circular economy is a good way to resolve this. The object of circular economy is cleaner production. For example, to reduce toxic materials would thereby mean creating mo...

Focus of this paper is the description of common used methods for hexavalent chromium measurement. This work is focused especially on commonly available spectrophotometric method based on the reaction with 1,5-diphenylcarbazide, because not every laboratory is equipped with modern devices for this pollutant measurement,. Special attention was focused on the variability possibilities of the basi...
متن کاملValorisation to biogas of macroalgal waste streams: a circular approach to bioproducts and bioenergy in Ireland
Seaweeds (macroalgae) have been recently attracting more and more interest as a third generation feedstock for bioenergy and biofuels. However, several barriers impede the deployment of competitive seaweed-based energy. The high cost associated to seaweed farming and harvesting, as well as their seasonal availability and biochemical composition currently make macroalgae exploitation too expensi...
